Spring 2021 Startups Pitch at FFWD Demo Day

We celebrated FFWD Spring 2021 startups who pitched at FFWD Demo Day with registered attendees from our investor, accelerator and fellow startup support community including Allia, Connected Places Catapult, L Marks, Playfair Capital, RLC Ventures, Speedinvest, Sustainable Ventures and Tech Nation.  It has been an inspiring 6 weeks for our team to support these hardworking founders in validating their MVP, MVS and business models to power their exciting growth ahead!

We are pleased to introduce this cohort innovating across EdTech, FinTech, HealthTech, RetailTech, SportsTech and more; while looking forward to news of their next steps to gain traction and grow a sustainable business.

GroceryDrop is a mobile app where users can order groceries from local shops. 100% of the delivery fees are given to drivers to provide them a sustainable source of income.  Stage: Pre-MVP

Hadada Global allows businesses to build on top of Open Banking platforms with a full stack of API products powered by an intelligent platform to securely access clean and categorized financial data and initiate payments.  Stage: MVP

Hunarly conducts exam-focused small group online classes in music, arts, coding, chess, and academics. Their well-structured classes help children to explore their interests, support academics and prepare them for renowned exams, certifications, competitions, ranks and beyond.  Stage: MVP / Early sales 

DocNoc is eliminating misdiagnosis due to the inefficient microscope-based diagnosis system errors and closes the gaps in cancer control globally.  Stage: Pre-MVP

Moo-In is a SaaS business, developed in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, aiding venue owners/managers to safely reopen and achieve operational efficiency. The platform consists of a contactless system encouraging customers to order from a digital menu.  Stage: MVP / Early sales 

Mumspring uses technology to enable wellness and empower mums – the backbone of every home and community. They are on a mission to create a balanced society by starting with mothers. The solution consists of three products which have been successfully launched in Lagos, Nigeria and are now looking to enter the UK market.  Stage: MVP 

Sprive is the only UK app that interacts with its users on an intra month basis to help them save money on their mortgage by making smart overpayments.  Stage: MVP 

Theia is a device designed to break barriers for the visually impaired (VI’s) and improve their autonomy.  Stage: Pre-MVP

ProGrad is a credit scoring company focussing on students and Generation Z and enables banks to better assess the creditworthiness of students.  Stage: MVP

ScribePay is building an all-in app that will help users to pay, manage, and cancel subscriptions with a swipe. Through our App, users can set rules to manage subscription i.e., amount and duration.  Stage: Pre- MVP 

Val U is a psycho educational app to help individuals navigate their way around difficult thoughts/emotions and strategise ways towards their goals.  Stage: Pre-MVP 

ToolDash is a B2B digital hub and a one-stop destination platform that allows users to access many applications from the same place, to save time.  Stage: MVP /Early Sales

Riding Pals is an app to connect mountain bikers who are looking for people to ride with and create a community of like-minded bike fans.  Stage: MVP

Revolushop helps physical shop customers shop faster and smarter by allowing them to purchase and pay for the goods directly from their phone using barcode and object recognition scanning.  Stage: Pre-MVP

OneBase is creating innovative climbing training equipment to help beginner climbers train at home and gamify the sports experience.  Stage: Pre-MVP
